SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Sources Sought Number: Notice Type: N42158-21-RC-11030 Sources Sought Synopsis: 1. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources outside of the suggested sole source, (Gerber Technology.) for information purposes only. 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if any responsible sources exist, outside of the suggested sole source, (IAW: DFARS PGI 206.302-1) and the Government is interested in large and small businesses concerns. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 511541 Custom Computer Programing Services, which has a corresponding Size Standard of $30M, and the Taxonomy of Services & Equipment Portfolio Group: Knowledge Based Services.. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide a capabilities statement, confirming your availability to provide the described service/supplies. 2. Program Details: 1. Service for Full Service and Software Updates (FSS). Includes all On-Site Labor during normal working hours (8am to 5pm) local time, Monday through Friday. Response time is 24-48 hours. Labor performed during outside of normal working hours will be quoted on an "as needed basis". (800-321-2448) Includes all major parts excluding operating consumables (pens, paper, ink, paper, surface, knives/blades, etc.) to your facility, returns are customer's expense. Consumable parts are not covered under this contract. (pen, mouse, ink, paper, surface, knife and certain wear items) For Single and Multi-Ply Cutters, two (2) Preventative Maintenance Visits per contract year to be initiated by the customer via the Gerber Service Customer Solutions Center. All software, hardware and operational telephone support during normal working hours (8am to 7pm EST, Monday through Friday (800-321-2448) Includes GERBER connect subscription and associated Technical Support. Access to Gerber Service website for software downloads and online documentation All "like" equipment in the same facility to be covered on the same level of support. Key Replacement (due to loss or defect) covered at 100%, with exception to 3rd party provided software packages. 2. Also includes Two (2) preventive maintenance visits per year for which Norfolk Naval Shipyard Technical POC would have to call in to set up at no additional cost to the government. 3. This contract covers Labor, travel, contract parts, Cutwork 7 DVD USB security Key for the new software, free software upgrades during the life of the contract.
