This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE / SYNOPSIS of a proposed requirement for commercial services prepared in accordance with the FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes only. The Government, the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) in Portsmouth, VA, is procuring: Rental Services of a 60-ton Chill Water Unit in support of MTS 635 Samuel Rayburn. The intended solicitation number for this notice is N4215819QS037. The NNSY anticipates the release of the solicitation on 22 March 2019 and distribute solely through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov/. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) and responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Any costs incurred by interested parties will NOT be reimbursed. It is the responsibility of any interested party to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this notice. The Government is considering single award of a firm fixed price (FFP) contract to a responsible small business concern contractor.
