The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime Contracting Office at Norfolk Naval Shipyard intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract for a LEVEL 1- STERN TUBE FWD SLEEVE; QTY 1 EA. The solicitation will be: a 100% Small Business Set-Aside & the NAICS Code will be 332991. Solicitation will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Solicitation SPMYM1-20-Q-0120 is expected to post on or around 9 September 2020. QUOTES shall be emailed to the attention of Crystal Thomas at Crystal.1.Thomas@dla.mil 1. LEVEL 1 requirement – DCMA source inspection at the manufacturer location is required. 2. The entire 63 page solicitation must be filled out and returned. 3. If applicable, executed copies of all amendments must be signed and returned. 4. If applicable, list shipping charges Ensure solicitation number SPMYM1-20-Q-0120 is included in the subject line of any email correspondence. Emails without subject lines will not be read due to security issues. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available by downloading the documents at www.beta.sam.gov, as this office no longer issues hard-copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither it nor its principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency. The final award will be based upon the following evaluation factors: 52.212-2 EVALUATION--COMMERCIAL ITEMS (OCT 2014) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement. (ii) Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) and Federal Awardee Performance and Integrity Information System (FAPIIS) will be reviewed to determine vendor responsibility. (iii) Current or recent approval by the government of Contractors Quality System. Reference TDP paragraph 3.12. (iv) Price The relative importance of the evaluation factors are in descending order. For the sake of efficiency, the Government reserve the right to evaluate only the three (3) lowest priced offers. (End of provision)
