PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL This notice is issued by Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) for the sole purpose of conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, to provide Industrial Plant Equipment Preventative Maintenance Services for approximately 450 pieces of equipment of various makes and types. This effort seakes out qualified buisness sources capable of providing services required by the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statemnent (PWS) and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP). All interested parties are encouraged to respond. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541330. The government anticipated using an Indefinite Deliver - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for the required service.As this requirement is in the market research/ fact finding stage there is not solicitation at this time. The Government is interested in recieveing responses from all qualified sources capable of providing the services. Large and small companies that have experience with these service are encouraged to respond to this notice by 29 January 2021 at 09:00 AM EST. This Notice is for informational purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government, not will the U.S. Government pay for information solicited. The Government will not return any information submitted, nor will the Government compensate any company who responds to this Notice. Proprietary information submitted will be protected, when so designated. The following key information is requested: 1. Company name, address, telephone number, Cage Code, DUNS number, Point of Contact (name, phone# and email). If your company is a small business, please identify the socioeconomic status. 2. Have you performed the same or similar work in the past? 3. Explanation of the companies abilioty to perform greater that 50% of the efforts required (indicate on the attached list of equipment - Appendix A - which if not all equipment your company is able to provide the required service for). This statement shall not reiterate or duplicate the language set forth in this Notice or the attached DRAFT PWS. Your CAPABILITIES STATEMENT shall demonstrate your company's ability to perform these critical tasks. Additionally if significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver thechnical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements.
