The Contractor shall provide rental, management, operation, maintenance, alterations, and repair for (1) 55K Forklift located at Portsmouth Site (Portsmouth, Virginia) including Norfolk Naval Shipyard and annexes and Norfolk Site (Norfolk, Virginia) including Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk; and various locations within a 50-mile radius of the above. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS: 55k Heavy Lift Forklift. Fork Lift Shall be equipped with an audible alarm for forward and reverse movement, horn, fuel gage (sight glass), hour meter, head lights, tail lights, stop light, and puncture proof tires (i.e. polyfoam filled). Shall be supplied to the customer with three keys. Shall meet all current maintenance requirements and certification based on operating hours of the individual piece of equipment. Temporary replacement units shall meet the same maintenance requirements. Shall meet the applicable Occupational Safety and Health Standards and shall be certified and weight tested as required Air Conditioned Cab. The period of performance of this rental services requirement is from February 22, 2024 through February 21, 2025.
