This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on FEDBIZOPPS (Https://Www.Fbo.Gov/). The RFQ number is N42158-22-Q-S022. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2021-04 effective 19 Jan 2021 and DFARS Change Notice 20210115. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The proposed contract action is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and award to a Firm Fixed Price Contract to a single source whose proposal is determined to be the lowest price technically acceptable. Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY), Portsmouth, VA requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: This announcement will close on 14 March 2023 at 09:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. NNSY requires service to rehabilitate and overhaul two (2) shipyard owned blast pots serial numbers GLX778 and GLX767 to 100% operability and demonstration of all equipment operating functions via pneumatic & electrical operational testing IAW the statement of work.
