SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Solicitation Number: Notice Type: N42158-21-RC-10809 Sources Sought Synopsis: 1. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive, and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 238210 Audio equipment installation (except automotive) contractors, which has a corresponding Size Standard of $16.5M, and Product or Service Code, (PSC) of N099 Installation of Equipment: Miscellaneous. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide a capabilities statement, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. 2. Program Details: Background: The NNSY Contracting Department requires instillation services for Video teleconference Center (VTC) equipment, to facilitate training for a room capable of handling 10 to 20 students. VTC equipment has already been purchased. Requirement: Prospective vendors need to demonstrate they are capable of installing the same or similar equipment as described in section 1.2 of the draft Statement of Work (SOW) listed below. Draft SOW: 1.1 Objective/Scope: The objective is to provide complex audio/video equipment upgrades to a NNSY Conference Room to enhance the environment and make capable for multi-functions as a conference room, (VTC), and classroom capable of handling 10 (during COVID restrictions) to 20 students. 1.2 Equipment Description/Specifications: The equipment functional description in this agreement reflects the following equipment for the VTC room including: • Display local video presentation and VTC’s on five Displays in Room. • Share or present (1) GFE laptop as a source to the monitors or VTC from front wall laptop plate with provided 20’ HDMI cable. • Share or present (1) Dual output NMCI PC as a source to the monitors or VTC. • All AV room control operations shall be provided via requested 8.7” wireless touch panel. • All Audio will be heard via requested overhead speakers utilizing requested audio equipment. • Participants may speak to the far end in VTC via requested pendent type mic arrays. 1.3 Period of Performance: The period of performance is estimated to be within 105 days after award. 1.4 Place of Performance: Norfolk Naval Shipyard, (Portsmouth, VA). 1.5 Security Requirements: Employees must be able to pass a background check to be authorized to perform work on the shipyard.
