NAMRU-D is in need of a system that can be used to record EEG activity in the Reduced Oxygen Breathing Environment (ROBE) before, during, and after a hypoxic exposure. Such a system must be 1) motion-stable to attenuate excessive movement artifact from hypoxic subjects, 2) portable for use in multiple environments to permit tracking participants over long time periods, 3) have low profile, active, wet electrodes, 4) have a minimum of 64 channels, and 5) must have cross-compatibility with current EEG equipment and software used by NAMRU-D.
