The Government is conducting market research for a requirement to provide crane rental supplies for Military Sealift Command (MSC) that will be used to replace the Sea-Based X-Band Radar (SBX-1 Radome). The Radome replacement effort will require several cranes to support the installation. This effort is anticipated to take place during Fiscal Year 26 (FY26). The recommended heavy equipment specs are provided in Reference 1. In Reference 2, SBX-1’s specs are provided. In Reference 3, supplemental crane drawings are provided.
