The Government intends to make a sole-source award to Richards Industrials, Inc., for the servicing of USNS MERCY’s Firemain Reducing Valve requirement. Richards Industrials, Inc. is the OEM service and parts provider for the firemain valves installed on the Military Sealift Command’s T-AH Class of ships. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
