The Government intends to make a sole-source award to Evoqua Water Technologies (Evoqua) for the procurement of a Chloropac cell assembly in support of USNS CESAR CHAVEZ. Evoqua is the OEM for the critical central seawater anti-fouling system installed on the Military Sealift Command’s ships. Evoqua is the sole supplier of these parts. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
