Government Response: Drawing #167-6580088 is the only drawing that exists for the WEAT Doors. Fabrications drawings are no longer available / do not exist. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Amendment 0001 Amendment 0001 incorporates file "N4044321Q0024_WEAT-Doors_Pics_Zip" to solicitation. Said file provides photos of required doors for general reference. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. The purpose of this order is to procure “Weathertight” (WEAT) Doors for the T-AO Class of MSC ships. Salient characteristics are as follows: T-AO Class of MSC ships are governed by the Alternate Compliance Program. As such, ABS Rules, Part 3, Chapter 2, Section 9.11 applies. WEAT Doors shall conform to NAVSEA Drawing 167-6580088, “Structural Door List”; drawing details features such as Door Number, Door Location, Swing, Door Dimensions, Rough Door Opening, etc. Each door shall be manufactured and outfitted with a frame, flange dogs, dog cheater bar both sides, dog cheater bar storage tabs, lever handles, Hasp & Staples, Door hold backs, gasket material and hinges already assembled. WEAT-Doors to be procured are listed in attachment “N4044321Q0024_CLINS_WEAT-DOORS”. Attachment “Weathertight and Watertight Doors_RFQ_N4044321Q0024” provides clarification on door type and certification requirements. All WEAT Doors are to be new.
