Amendment 0001 extends the submission due date to 15 April 2020 and incorporates "Weathertight and Watertight Doors_RFP_N4044320R0046" (PPT) into solicitation. Said PPT provides clarificaton on certifcation requirements. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Original Announcement: The purpose of this solicitation is to provide Weathertight (WEAT) doors for the T-AO Class of MSC Ships. SOW T-AO Class of MSC ships are governed by the Alternate Compliance Program. As such, ABS Rules, Part 3, Chapter 2, Section 9.11 applies. WEAT Doors shall conform to NAVSEA Drawing 167-6580088, “Structural Door List.” Attached Drawing details features such as Door Number, Door Location, Swing, Door Dimensions, Rough Door Opening, etc. Each door shall be manufactured and outfitted with a frame, flange dogs, dog cheater bar both sides, dog cheater bar storage tabs, lever handles, Hasp & Staples, Door hold backs, gasket material and hinges already assembled. Three different WEAT doors are being procured – to include options for procuring one additional of each door type for (option for three additional). Shipping. Partial shipments are authorized. IUID charge is required for parts with a unit price of $5,000.00 or more (See 252.211-7003 full text below). If not charging for IUID, so state.
