The Government intends to make a sole-source award to Lake Shore Systems Inc. (Lakeshore), for the following OEM parts required to support USNS MERCY's lifeboat repair requirements: Drum Hoist (P/N: 2C1-131); Gasket (P/N: 2B1-00227); Gasket (P/N: 2B1-02610); Key (P/N: 2D3-01303,055); Pinion Gear (P/N: 2B1-002747), and Gear (P/N: 2C2-01365). Lakeshore is the OEM service and parts provider for the lifeboat davits installed on the Military Sealift Command's T-AH Class of ships. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
