NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Bahrain Det Dubai intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for the repair requirement of a USN Vessel. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR 15, Contracting by Negotiation procedures. Pursuant to FAR 5.202 (a) (12), this is a non-mandatory synopsis. This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business within Jebel Ali Port, U.A.E as prescribed by DFARS 225.1103 (3). This non-commercial solicitation is 100% full and open competition with geographical restriction to Jebel Ali, U.A.E. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) code is J998. This acquisition will result in a single award. System for Award Management - By submission of a bid, the bidder acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee shall be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. If the bidder does not become registered in the SAM database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered bidder. Bidders may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the SAM database accessed through https://www.sam.beta.gov.
