SEA TURTLE NESTING BEACH MONITORING AND NEST PROTECTION ON NAVAL BASE GUAM The Contractor shall provide environmental services to conduct monitoring to document sea turtle nesting activity of the endangered Green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) and Hawksbill sea turtle (Eretmochelys imbritica) on Naval Base Guam (NBG) managed beaches, to implement nest protection, and to control invasive plant species at nesting beaches that obstruct emergence of hatchlings. All work shall be in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Period of Performance is twelve (12) months from the date of award. This Request for Quotation is set-aside for Small Business (SB) Concerns. Quotations are solicited only from SB concerns. Quotations received from offerors that are not SB Concerns will not be considered. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received must be considered by the agency. All notifications and amendments to this combined synopsis/solicitation will be posted via this website. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ALL OFFERORS TO CHECK THIS WEBSITE DAILY FOR ANY NOTICES OR AMENDMENTS TO THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. All responsible contractors are encouraged to submit a quotation in response to this Request for Quotation (RFQ).
