Central Energy Building Maintenance and Repair, MCAS Cherry Point, Cherry Point, NC
This Sources Sought Notice is for market research only and seeks eligible small businesses capable of operating and maintaining the Central Energy Building’s chiller plant/distribution, steam and hot water generation/distribution, condensate return, and compressed air, medical/dental air, and vacuum systems at the Naval Health Clinic aboard Marine Air Corps Station, Cherry Point, North Carolina. The contractor would provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment for 24/7 operation, maintenance, repair, an integrated maintenance plan, and major repair/component or equipment replacement above the IMP liability limit. The anticipated performance-based contract is a combination firm-fixed-price/indefinite-quantity arrangement with a one-year base period plus four one-year options, totaling no more than 60 months, and possible continuation up to six months under the Option to Extend Services. The requirement is being considered for 100% small business set-aside, including 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, and other small business categories, under NAICS 561210 with a $47.0M size standard. It would replace a 2021 contract for similar services valued at $3,012,896.16 for the total firm-fixed-price portion plus a $300,000 per year indefinite quantity estimate/maximum.
