This is a sources sought notice, not a solicitation, to identify qualified small businesses for a Design-Bid-Build project using Early Contractor Involvement. The project constructs an E-130J Main Operating Base and Fleet Replacement Squadron training campus at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina, including new hangars, training buildings, aprons, taxiways, and renovation of an existing training facility. The estimated magnitude of construction is over $500,000,000, and the work involves campus-style construction, secure compound experience, and renovation of administrative buildings. Interested small businesses must submit a capabilities package demonstrating two to five relevant projects, each with a final construction cost of $250,000,000 or greater and covering the required scope and complexity elements. The government will use responses to determine whether a small business set-aside is appropriate.
