This project will provide the repairs to an existing railroad embankment and underlying culverts at Naval Weapons Station Earle. This project includes compaction grouting of the embankment, repair of sixteen (16) degraded corrugated metal pipe culverts (which will include installation of cofferdams, dewatering activities, and relining). The construction activities will take place adjacent to an active railway owned and operated by the Navy which will require coordination with Navy railroad dispatch and require clearance of rail right-of-way in accordance with the plans and specifications herein.
