NSA Portsmouth Building 1575 Replace HVAC The Contractor shall remove and dispose of all existing Water Source Heat Pump WSHP unit and all associated equipment support. Hot and cold water pipe to existing WSHP shall be cut off and if it is not on the way or if the hot and cold water pipe will not interfere with any new work or construction it can be capped and abandoned in place. All WSHP shall be replaced with package rooftop air conditioners heat pump with duct mounted electric heat for back up heat during heating season. All existing ductwork connected to existing WSHP shall be cut and removed up to the point where it can be connected to new package rooftop air conditioners heat pumps ductwork. All existing supply and return diffuser shall remain in place and be reused. All existing ductworks that are not on the way or will not interfere with any new work or construction can be cutoff and blankoff and abandoned in place. All new package rooftop air conditioners heat pumps shall be installed on the roof and mounted on an equipment roof curb.
