APPLICABLE SPECIFICATION Fin-and-tube shall be coils constructed of seamless copper tubes and aluminum or copper fins mechanically bonded or soldered to the tubes. Copper tube wall thickness must be a minimum of 0.016 inches and aluminum fins must be 0.0055 inch minimum thickness. Copper fins shall have 0.0045 inch minimum thickness. Provide casing and tube support sheets that are not lighter than 16 gauge galvanized steel, formed to provide structural strength. When required, provide multiple tube supports to prevent tube sag. Mount coils for counterblow service. Rate and certify coils to meet the requirements of AHRI 410.
