Combined Synopsis/Solicitation N4008523Q2518 This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR subpart 5.1 and 5.2, FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) -The proposed contract action is for utilities locate ticket management services. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6), the required justification or documentation is attached. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on. The solicitation number is N4008523Q2518 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This is the only RFQ for this requirement, it includes all the terms, and conditions as well as applicable FAR and DFARS clauses and provisions with respect to the anticipated purchase order. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2023-02, effective February 14, 2023. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 532420 and the Small Business Standard is $40 million. This requirement is being procured as Unrestricted. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a Sole Source basis to Xerox, 1800 M ST NW STE 500N, Washington, District Of Columbia 20036-5870, USA, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Responsible parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, or submit a quote by the date and time specified. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The contractor shall provide service, maintenance, training and comprehensive lifecycle supplies for 119 Xerox Multi-function devices (MFDs) already on-site at various locations throughout Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic. Period of Performance: The anticipated Period of Performance is 01 April 2023 to 30 November 2023. The contract will contain provisions for a base period of 8 months, and one 6 month option period.
