Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Public Works Department (PWD) Newport, located at Newport, Rhode Island, announces a requirement for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Services. Solicitation Number: N4008523B2505 Title: New Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Service Contract Location: 1. Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Complex and Various Locations 2. Navy Medical Readiness & Training Command (NMRTC) Complex and Various Location The Government will issue the solicitation as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) as an unrestricted (Full & Open Competition) requirement. Contract award will be based on Far Part 14 – Sealed Bidding. Award shall be made on the total sum of the Base Bid and (4) option years to the responsive and responsible bidder with the lowest price acceptable to the Government. The IFB will be issued on or about 16 February 2023. The offeror is responsible to monitor and download any amendments for the solicitation from the Contract Opportunities (https://beta.sam.gov) website. Description of Work: Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island is seeking qualified companies to perform maintenance, repair, alteration for Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Services (Recurring & Non-Recurring) at NUWC and NMRTC, Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island. The scope of work includes inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, alteration, demolition and minor construction for the following building systems: Fire alarm and detection systems Fire sprinkler systems (Wet & Dry) Fire Alarm Pre-action Panels Fire pump assemblies Fire pump “Flow Testing” Electric and Diesel CO2 fire suppression systems including Clean Agent and High and Low Pressure.
