The area of work under this contract is located in the existing electrical, mechanical spaces and exterior of the building. Work under this project involves demolishing existing backup generator and Automatic Transfer Switch and providing and installing new replacement backup generator and Automatic Transfer Switch. Mechanical, Civil, Architectural, Structural, and Fire Protection work shall also be provided in support of the project. This project shall install a new 600 kW Standby Diesel Generator, 277/480 VAC 3 Phase, 60 HZ and a new Automatic Transfer Switch. The generator will be located behind building 330 on a reinforced concrete equipment pad in the approximate location as existing generator to be demolished.
