This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR subpart 5.1 and 5.2, FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. The proposed contract action is for a brand name only. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6), the required justification or documentation is attached The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on (https://Sam.Gov/. The solicitation number is N4008522Q2997 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This is the only RFQ for this requirement, it includes all the terms, and conditions as well as applicable FAR and DFARS clauses and provisions with respect to the anticipated purchase order. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2022-07, effective August 10, 2022. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 334519 and the Small Business Standard is 500 employees. This requirement is being procured as a Sole Source – Brand Name only procurement. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a Sole Source Brand Name only basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, or submit a quote by the date and time specified. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals for brands other than Applanix. However, all bids, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
