This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR subpart 5.1 and 5.2, FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. The proposed contract action is for brand name only. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6), the required justification or documentation is attached The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on (https://Sam.Gov/. The solicitation number is N4008522Q2513 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This is the only RFQ for this requirement, it includes all the terms, and conditions as well as applicable FAR and DFARS clauses and provisions with respect to the anticipated purchase order. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2022-06, effective May 26, 2022. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 333996 and the Small Business Standard is 1,200 (number of employees). This requirement is being procured as a Small Business Set-Aside – Brand Name procurement. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a Brand Name only basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, or submit a quote by the date and time specified. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all bids, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. PWD Great Lakes requires two parts in order to return vacuum truck N5709662 back to service. The two parts needed are a Pump-Rodder assembly for a VACCON Model 62180S and a Dual-Fan State motor for a VACTOR Model 62709U. The parts needed to make the vacuum motor operate on the truck. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid-Atlantic (NAVFAC Mid-Lant) requires the internal parts to meet the Government’s needs to bring unit N570966 back to in service.
