This announcement constitutes an official Request for Information (RFI) as defined by FAR 15.201(e). This is a sources sought notice (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capability and availability of sources with Bottled Water Service experience. The Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island is seeking qualified companies to perform maintenance, repair, alteration for Bottled Water Services (Recurring & Non-Recurring) at Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island. The scope of work includes water deliveries to (4) different buildings on the installation. The deliveries consist of 5 Gallon water bottles with a yearly quantity of 875, 120, 176 and 300 to the designated building identified in the contract. Preventative maintenance will be part of the Exhibit Line Item (ELIN) bid schedule to monitor the (21) total water dispensers (hot & cold) in the buildings expressed in the specifications. The work will be accomplished under a combination Recurring/Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Non-Recurring/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option periods. Estimated contract start date is 1 September 2022. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract on time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option-to-Extend Services clause. Sources sought include small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns. The NAICS code is 722310 -- Food Service Contractors. The Small Business Size Standard is $41.5 million. Interested vendors should at a minimum, fill out and submit the attached Sources Sought Information Request Form, inclusive of the following information: Company Profile, to include number of offices and number of employees per office, annual receipts, office locations, available bonding capacity, DUNS number, and CAGE code. Please indicate If you are a Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, certified HUBZone Small Business, and certified 8(a) Businesses Examples of projects worked within the last five years of similar size, scope and complexity as the work indicated. Indicate whether your firm worked as a prime or subcontractor, contract value, brief description of how the referenced contract relates to the work described, and a Government / Agency point of Contact.
