THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential Offerors that the Resident Officer in Charge of Construction Camp Lejeune intends to solicit bids and award a firm-fixed price contract to Demolish Various Buildings aboard Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. A sources sought notice was posted on 18 May 2022 under solicitation N40085?22-B-2510 to determine availability and capability of businesses to perform the requirement. Based on market research results, the procurement will be solicited as a Small Business set?aside. NAVFAC Mid?Atlantic's Office of Small Business Programs concurs with the determination to solicit as a Small Business set?aside. The work includes complete demolition of buildings, including overhead and underground utility lines terminated at closest main connections, demolition of concrete slab, walkway and footings. Sites will be backfilled, leveled, and sodded. Asbestos shall be abated as per specifications. A complete set of specifications and drawings will be included in the solicitation. The procurement method to be utilized is FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding and the estimated cost for this procurement is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. The proposed contract listed here is solicited as a Small Business set-aside and is therefore subject to Federal Acquisition Regulation clause 52.219-1. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238910 and the annual size standard is $16,500,000.00. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://sam.gov when it becomes available, free of charge. Plans, specifications, and drawings will be available for electronic download on or about 27 June 2022. Bids will be due on or about 27 July 2022 at 10 AM. Offerors shall submit with their offer a bid bond of 20% of the amount of their proposal.
