The work includes removal of the existing outdated base-wide fire alarm central monitoring system and provide a new mesh radio-based network central station monitoring system, replacement of fire alarm system(s) in Building 7, and incidental related work. The work is located at the Naval Support Activity Philadelphia, PA (NSA-P). This project requires the use of brand name commercial equipment from AES Corporation, IntelliNet System for Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) programmable building controllers in contract actions requiring interface with the identified Installation networked monitoring system at NSA-P. The use of AES Corporation, IntelliNet System brand name programmable building controllers will be required for all projects that require a connection to the identified (existing or currently under development) installation networked facilities control and monitoring system commonly referred to as the Fire alarm system. The AES Corporation, IntelliNet System controllers will be configured and programmed using government-licensed AES Corporation, IntelliNet System software. Programmable building controllers are categorized as FRCS and include network modules, radio repeaters, and a head end unit. The requirement to use AES Corporation, 7275 Network Monitoring Software to program AES Corporation, IntelliNet System brand name commercial equipment does not restrict who can install, commission, test, maintain, or operate the controllers, and there are several known sources who can provide such services. The use of AES Corporation IntelliNet brand name programmable equipment will be required for all projects that require a connection to the NSAP Fire Alarm and Reporting System.
