The Contractor shall complete infrared scanning, evaluation, repair/replacement of any wet or moist roofing/insulation and complete an application of a fluid applied coating system at the roof over the library and auditorium. The partial repair/replacement in this section shall be with fully adhered EPDM to match the existing roofing system. The scope includes the re-sealing of all seams, penetrations, flashing, and coping joints at the fully adhered EDPM roof area over the Museum, and any incidental related work. This solicitation is for a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) type contract. This is a sources sought notice (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capability and availability of sources with water testing service experience. The Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Connecticut is seeking qualified Woman-Owned and Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB and EDWOSB) to provide Roofing Construction for Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT. The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment required to perform water testing services as described in the associated attachments. The work will be accomplished under a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The estimated period of performance is 120 days. The estimated contract award date is 1 August 2021. Sources sought include woman-owned small business concerns (WOSB) and economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business concerns (EDWOSB). The NAICS code is 236220 (Commercial & Institutional Building Construction). The Small Business Size Standard is $39.5 million.
