THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The purpose of this sources sought is to determine if there are commercially available BACNET compatible systems with equivalent specifications of the JCI Metasys detailed in Attachment 2 – Technical Information. The attachment describes the required equipment for the Building 002 Laboratory Renovations project and is necessary for compliance with the building automation requirements. Control Networks must be selected from the list of PWD approved manufacturers / products. Of those approved products, only one fits the existing Navy Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) site constraints as defined by the existing utility locations, site features, grading/drainage, buildings locations, etc. This is a market research tool being used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an award. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. It is requested that interested vendors submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 5 pages total) demonstrating the ability to provide the product with the specifications described above. Interested Sources are invited to respond to this Source Sought by completing Attachment 1 – Company Information and Attachment 2 – Technical Information. The Capabilities Statement Package shall not exceed 5 pages and shall ONLY be submitted electronically to Laura Thomas, laura.e.thomas4@navy.mil and MUST be limited to a 4MB attachment. You are encouraged to request a read receipt or acknowledgement via reply email. RESPONSES ARE DUE NO LATER THAN MONDAY, 8 JUNE 2020 AT 2:00 PM EASTERN TIME. LATE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
