This is a proposed task order under the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) 8(a) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) For New Construction, Renovation, Alteration, And Repairs For General Construction Projects Located At Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Naval Support Activity & Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Virginia. Only the following are eligible to propose: N4008519D9194, Global-Homeland JV One, LLC N4008519D9195, Safeco-CDSI JV LLC N4008519D9196, Succor-Ocean JV, LLC N4008519D9197, Syncon, LLC N4008519D9198, Turner Strategic Technologies, LLC Description of the Work: The project consists of repairs and alterations to Buildings 1576 and 1577 including, but not limited to, replacement of asphalt shingle roofing, resinous flooring system, exterior trim work, interior painting, exterior signage, mechanical systems, plumbing modifications and electrical modifications. In addition, the project includes installation of new variable frequency drives for the pumps, replacement of existing pump motors and replacement the valves for supply and discharge of the pump. At the completion of operations, existing work must be in a condition equal to or better than that which existed before new work started. Building 1577 and 1576 will not be occupied during performance of work. Refer to Technical Specifications and Drawings (Attachment A).
