All materials, equipment, and procedures must be in accordance with UFC 3-270- 01, O&M Manual: Asphalt and Concrete Pavement Maintenance and Repair, UFC 3-201-01, Civil Engineering, and all other applicable codes/standards. Any contracted work performed on Naval Station Great Lakes is required to follow/meet Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) regulations/certifications. Approximate Quantities: Pavement removal and replacement: 12,500 SF Mill and overlay: 6,000SF Concrete removal and pavement replacement: 2,000 SF The building will be occupied during construction. Interested small business contractors must be able to comply with FAR Clause 52.219-14, Limitation on Subcontracting, which limits the amount of work performed by subcontractors. Specifically as the prime contractor, your company must perform at least 15% of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with your own employees. If adequate interest is not received from SB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Notifications of interest must be submitted in writing via email; phone calls will not be accepted. Notifications that do not address all the required information in the Sources Sought Questionairre will not be considered.
