Conduct three years of LUC Maintenance & Repairs at all NSGL LUC areas as listed in the 2018 LUC Tracker for NSGL. Conduct three years of LUC Maintenance & Repairs at all NSGL LUC areas as listed in the 2018 LUC Tracker for NSGL. Currently, as of June 2020, there are 22 LUC areas listed in the LUC tracker document. Within the operational period of this contract (2020-2023), the Navy expects two more LUC areas will be added, ERN sites 25 and 27, Pettibone Creek Boat Basin and Camp Moffett Landfill, respectively. For any new LUC areas added while this task order is active will be included in this task order. The Contractor shall obtain final approval of the work required by NAVFAC and IL-EPA upon completion of these performance objectives. In general, LUC maintenance and repairs will include the following tasks: mowing grass 4 times each year; repairing cracks & pot holes in asphalt & concrete; replacing, correcting and/or installing new signs; repairing, replacing and/or installing new fencing; repairing, replacing or installing new landfill gas passive vents; repairing ponding & erosion problem(s) on landfill soil caps; properly abandoning monitoring wells no longer in use; replacing/installing bollards to protect monitoring wells; and, removing unwanted vegetation from landfill covers.
