The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Public Works Department Maine, is seeking business firms capable of installing data lines in Building 96 on the second floor to provide a complete telecommunications system at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY), Kittery, ME. The Northern American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236210. The procurement method is Total Small Business Set-Aside, FAR Part 19. Project Description: This project includes providing and installing all materials, hardware and incidental items to provide a complete telecommunication system located on the second floor of Building 96 at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY). Work is to be completed in accordance with this contract and the following project specific details provided. Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance for this contract is 60 calendar days. Contract Magnitude: The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000 IAW DFARS 236.204. Site Walk: The site walk is scheduled for Wednesday 3/25/2020 at 1330. The Navy commenced a transition from the Navy Commercial Access Control System (NCACS) to the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) credentialing for contractors, visitors, vendors and suppliers requiring access to Navy Installations. DBIDS is the new credential that will be accepted for all contractors, visitors, vendors and suppliers that require access to the installation. There is no charge for the DBIDS credentials.
