This Request for Proposal (RFP) is to competitively procure the use of approximately 5,000 square feet (SF) of climate controlled, commercial space for use via Lease by the U.S. Navy to accommodate the Armed Forces Wellness Center (AFWC) located at Newport News, Virginia. AFWC provides support services to improve service member well-being. The lease space is intended to accommodate staff offices, classrooms, assessment space, restrooms, and infection control space. Occupancy shall commence upon the mutually agreed date of the parties with consideration given to completion of site improvements. The lease term is requested for a firm term of one-year with nine (9) annual renewal options. Offers are due to the Real Estate Contracting Officer by 12:00 PM (noon) EST on April 1, 2024 at 9324 Virginia Ave, Norfolk, VA 23321 Attn: Code RE3-PK, RE: Navy Contract Number N40085-24-RP-00117,and must include all information specified in this RFP. Upon request, an extension on the offer due date will be considered. Offers shall remain valid for six (6) months from the offer due date. There will be no public opening of offers, and no information will be disclosed regarding offers until an award has been made.
