The project includes the renovation of a portion of the third floor of building NH-19 into personal offices, open office space, conference room, and incidental related work. The renovation will require modifications to the existing architectural, structural, fire protection, mechanical, electrical, and telecommunications systems to meet mission security and readiness requirements. The work includes the reinstallation of salvaged workstations from the first floor & third floor renovation project as indicated on the drawings. All new office furnishings for this project will be provided under a separate contract, and are not in contract. New furnishings shown are for reference information only, with specific intent to locate required electrical and telecommunications in the spaces. Approximately 4,000 square feet of the building area must be renovated. MACC (8a) Set-Aside Based on mission needs, it was determined by the Contracting Officer in order to better meet operational mission for the Navy that this 8a MACC would be utilized. A total of five (5) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contracts were awarded to the following qualified firms with relevant experience in performing efforts of similar value, size and scope: Axis-Ballard LLC., J.W. Clark Enterprises, Inc., McFarland Atlantic Construction, Safeco-Ocean JV, LLC., Turner Strategic Technologies, LLC. N40085-17- D-0324 through 0328. N40085-17-D-0324 - Axis Ballard LLC.'s and N40085-17-D-0326 - McFarland Atlantic Construction LLC.’s option years were not exercised, leaving four (3) contracts.
