This project will demolish SDA-213 (built in 1941), deteriorated steel frame warehouse in support of the consolidation of DLA's disposition services in the Hampton Roads area. The foundation will be demolished flush to the building slab. Portions of the building slab will remain to facilitate open storage for Defense Logistics (DLA) Disposition Services. Any holes, floor drains, and on level surfaces will be patched to match existing elevation of building slab. Demolition will include removal of all of utilities and abatement of all asbestos containing materials. The remaining building slab will be repaired with new concrete in order for the structure.
