IDIQ Preventive Maintenance and E/U/R Services for Doors and Gates, CFAY Japan
NAVFAC Far East is conducting a sources-sought market research notice to identify qualified firms capable of providing preventive maintenance and emergency/unscheduled/routine services for roll-up doors, sliding doors, sliding gates, and automatic door systems at U.S. Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), Japan. The anticipated requirement would be a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract combining recurring and non-recurring work. Any contract awarded would be performed entirely in Japan, and contractors must be authorized to do business there and possess a construction license (Kensetsu Gyo Kyoka) or provide verification prior to award. The U.S. Government will not offer “U.S. Official Contractor” status under the SOFA, though it may consider designating eligible employees as Members of the Civilian Component. Interested firms should provide company information, qualifications for conducting business in Japan, locations where willing and capable to work, and optional subcontractor details.
