This is a sources sought notice to identify qualified contractors for Collection, Holding, and Transfer (CHT) services for ship-generated black and gray wastewater and industrial waste from naval ships and submarines. Services include providing barges for collection, holding, transfer, and on-site treatment at CFAS Sasebo, Japan and outlying areas. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and valid Japanese licenses and permits for waste handling in accordance with Japanese regulations and JEGS. The government anticipates a commercial contract under FAR Part 12, with a one-year base period and four one-year options, possibly as an IDIQ or Requirements Contract. Interested parties must register in SAM and provide their contact information and feedback.
