This contract is for the repair of existing blast doors at building 1440, NAF Misawa, Japan. All work must be performed entirely in Japan, and contractors must be authorized to operate and conduct construction business there, including having a Japanese bank account for payment. A pre-quote meeting and site visit are scheduled for 23 July 2025 at Misawa Air Base, Japan, with an attendance request deadline of 14 July 2025. Contractor questions are due by 25 July 2025. The U.S. Government will not offer "United States Official Contractor" status under the SOFA to the awarded contractor.
