The requirement of 0.45m3 bucket was removed from the Contractor Information Form, which means NO bucket is needed for this backhoe and instead, magnet is used for connection of the claw attachment. The Contractor Information Form was replaced by the Contractor Information Form_REV1_23May2022. Please fill out the Contractor Information Form_REV1_23May2022. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, REQUEST FOR QUOTE, OR INVITATION FOR BID. The intent of this notice is to identify sources capable of providing the item described herein. This sources sought is intended for information and planning purposes only. The information received will be utilized within the Navy to facilitate the planning and decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. GENERAL INFORMATION Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Far East (NAVFAC FE), Core Execution Team (CET) is seeking potential sources capable of providing the following:. Arm Roll Truck (Roll Off), 1 each, with 9 each open top containers Backhoe (Excavator). 1 each 4-Ton Forklift, 1 each These vehicles and equipment will be used by the NAVFAC FE Qualified Recycling Program (QRP) to move heavy items and load and unload materials. Delivery will be made to one (1) location: Yokosuka, Japan. The Arm Roll Truck (Roll Off) shall include the following salient characteristics: truck, container handling, hoist/haul, maximum loading capacity 4.000 kilograms (including container), GVW between 7,000 – 10,000, Arm, Hook Roll or equivalent, 9 each minimum 8.1m³ hoist/haul containers, 4x2, diesel engine driven, and air conditioner. The Backhoe (Excavator) shall include the following salient characteristics: excavator, demolition version, 0.45m³ bucket, high reach crane, multi control lever, minimum 2.38m length heavy duty boom, dozer blade and diesel engine driven. The 4-Ton Forklift shall include the following salient characteristics: Forklift with a maximum loading weight 4,000 kilograms, GVW of minimum 6,100 kilograms, full rotation carriage, minimum 4,000mm safety wide mast, fork length of 1,220mm, airless tires for front and rear, rear pillar assist, backrest for attachment, floor heater, and diesel engine driven. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Interested sources are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice by completing and submitting Enclosure (1) Contractor Information Form, to demonstrate capabilities. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the Navy’s market research. NAVFAC FE will utilize the information for acquisition planning purposes. All data received in response to this Sources Sought Notice marked or designated, as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the Government.
