This is a construction project that will Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for Asbestos Removal for various areas, Japan. Contractor shall provide removal of asbestos containing materials, and related works, as described on plans and specifications and in each task order. The work shall be located at the U.S. Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Ikego Housing Area, Azuma Storage Area (Hakozaki), Urago Storage Area, Nagai ULM4, Yokohama North Dock, Yokohama Cold Storage, Tsurumi POL Depot, New Sanno, U.S. Forces Center and U.S. Embassy, Tokyo. Per FAR 36.204, the magnitude of construction is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000 (Not-to-Exceed, Base) (based on the FY22 Budget Execution Rate of JPY 106.4531 = $1.00). This procurement will be issued using Sealed Bidding procedure with the intent to award a single Fixed Price contract. Award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid, confirming to the solicitation, is the solicitation, is the most advantageous and offers the best value to the Government considering price only factors. Contract period is one-year base period and four (4) one-year option periods after the date of contract award. Bid shall be priced only in Japanese Yen. Bid not priced in Japanese Yen shall be deemed non-responsive, and will not be eligible for award. When the contract is awarded, the price of this CLINs will be expressed in U.S. Dollars for the administrative convenience of the U.S. Government. Payment will be made in Yen.
