This is a construction project that will replace buildings UPS systems at the Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), Japan. The work includes renew existing UPS system, modify existing common battery unit system with new individual battery unit system and perform testing and adjusting as described on plans and specifications, including all incidental related works. Per FAR 36.204, the magnitude of construction is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 (based on the FY22 Budget Execution Rate of JPY 106.4531 = $1.00). This procurement will be issued using Sealed Bidding procedure with the intent to award a single Fixed Price contract. Award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid, confirming to the solicitation, is the solicitation, is the most advantageous and offers the best value to the Government considering price only factors. Contract completion period is 360 calendar days after the date of contract award. Bid shall be priced only in Japanese Yen. Bid not priced in Japanese Yen shall be deemed non-responsive, and will not be eligible for award. When the contract is awarded, the price of this CLIN will be expressed in U.S. Dollars for the administrative convenience of the U.S. Government. Payment will be made in Yen.
