The resulting contract will include a single-award Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Integrated Solid Waste Management services comprised of Recurring and Non-Recurring work items at Marine Corps Installations Pacific Camp Smedley D. Butler, Okinawa, Japan. 2. The work to be performed includes, but not limited to, refuse collection, disposal and recycling services at the southern camps of MCB Installations, Okinawa, Japan. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, managment, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to perfom the collection of solid waste to include non-residential, general, and recyclable waste, and disposal of all wastes at various locations on MCB Butler, Okinawa, Japan to include, Camp Foster, Camp Kinser, MCAS Futenma, Camp Lester, Fort Buckner, and Plaza. 3. The intent of this notice is to identify potential contractors that are capable of performing the following work: Purpose and Objectives: To provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment required to perform refuse collection, disposal and recycling at various locations on Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler, Okinawa, Japan to include but not limited to Camp Foster, Camp Kinser, MCAS Futenma, Camp Lester, and Plaza. Project requirements: Collection of solid waste to include non-residential, general waste, and disposal of all wastes. Contractor to provide containers for unscheduled collections. These containers will function as collection points for refuse generated during special events held aboard various U.S. Government Installations located on Okinawa. Contract Type: Recurring (Firm Fixed Price)/ Non-Recurring (IDIQ) Services contract Anticipated Period of Performance: The anticipated performance period is for a base period of 12-months and seven (7) 12-month option periods. Other important considerations: Okinawa is subject to multiple typhoons throughout the year. The information will be used within the NAVFAC Far East Acquisition Division and will not be disclosed outside the agency. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government to issue a Solicitation or award a contract. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on responses. Entities responding to this Sources Sought Notice should submit the minimum information necessary for the Government to make a determination that adequate business entities exist that are capable of satisfying the Government’s requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562111 – Solid Waste Collection It is requested that interested firms capable of providing the requested services submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages, including attachments if any) demonstrating your ability to perform the requested services. The documentation should address the following: COMPANY PROFILE to include: (1) Company name and address; (2) Company point of contact (including title, telephone and fax numbers and email address); and (3) If your company is registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) website, please indicate your DUNS Number and CAGE code.
