The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Far East, PWD Sasebo, is currently seeking interested contractors who are both willing and qualified to refill the Fire Fighting System at LCAC Hush House 4, Building 7029 with High Expansion (HI-EX) foam. This system is used to protect the building, LCAT’s and equipment against fires. The Contractor would be required to; (i.) completely flush and clean the Fire Fighting System, (ii.) collect the discharged water and treat it as industrial waste, (iii.) execute a thorough inspection and repair items damaged during the accidental discharge, (iv.) refill tank with 1,500 liters of 3% SNOWRAP SE, HI-EX foam, and (v.) perform a test to confirm proper operation and restore the system to an alert state.
