THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR BID / REQUEST FOR PROPSOAL The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Far East, Public Works Department (PWD) Sasebo, Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division (FEAD) Contracting Branch intends to award using 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 contract modifications to OHISHI CONSTRUCTION Co., LTD., 4-52, Huistenbosch Machi, Sasebo, Japan 859-5703. The purpose of this modification to N4008417D6504 is to increase the not-to-exceed (NTE) of the Multiple Award Construction Contract for Medium Magnitude Project (Regular MACC) for Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects at U.S. Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS) Japan by $1,300,000.00 from $56,900,000.00 to $58,200,000.00. This capacity increase is necessary to execute task order modifications to provide additional asbestos containing materials (ACM) abatement and lead based paint (LBP) removal and disposal for task order N4008420F4108. The increased capacity will be used to accomplish additional identified work requirements determined essential to completing existing requirements via task orders and additional capacity to address potential contingencies requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or a solicitation of offers. However, all capability statements received by 25 Feb 2022 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement upon receipt of response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
