The intent of this notice is to conduct market research and identify potential contractors that are capable of performing the work in Japan and interested in the Department of Navy’s requirement for FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION SERVICES AT MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER, U.S. NAVAL HOSPITAL (USNH) & BRANCH CLINICS/FACILITIES, OKINAWA, JAPAN The information will be used within the NAVFAC FE Contracting Division and will not be disclosed outside the agency. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. NAVFAC FE, FEAD Camp Butler is seeking qualified contractors and subcontractors that are licensed to conduct business in Japan for Facilities Support Contracts, specifically Fire Protection System Prevention Maintenance and Inspection Services. SERVICES DESCRIPTION: The contractors shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to: provide the preventive maintenance for fire protection systems at Marine Corps various facilities, U.S. Naval Hospital (USNH) and Branch Clinics/Facilities, Okinawa, Japan. CONTRACT TYPE: Firm Fixed Price/IDIQ Services contract with RECURRING and NON-RECURRING work items. Anticipated period of performance is five (5) years consisting of a one (1) year base period and four (4) one-year option periods. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government to issue a Solicitation or award a contract. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on responses. Entities responding to this Sources Sought Notice should submit the minimum information necessary for the Government to make a determination that adequate business entities exist that are capable of satisfying the Government’s requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561210 Facilities Support Services. It is requested that interested firms capable of providing the requested services submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages, including attachments if any) demonstrating your ability to perform the requested services. The documentation shall address, at a minimum, the following: 1. COMPANY PROFILE to include all of the following: (1) Company name and address; (2) Company point of contact (including title, telephone and fax numbers and email address); and (3) If your company is registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) website, please indicate your Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) numbers and CAGE code. 2. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Indicate your experience in providing services for the requirement stated above. Please indicate number of years of experience. 3. SUBCONTRACTORS: If known, provide established subcontractor arrangements or partnerships with other companies (Optional). 4. LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: Indicate any applicable local/and or industry certification your company or employee possess relevant to this procurement. 5. MISC INFO: Provide anything pertinent to this industry and/or type of work, in general, that the Government should consider. Interested firms may submit information using the form provided under separate file titled “Sources Sought – Contractor Information Form (attachment 1)” to demonstrate capabilities, capacity and experience.
