GENERAL INFORMATION The work includes, but is not limited performing refuse collection, disposal and recycling at Yokohama area include Tsurumi POL area, North-Dock area and Negishi area of the U.S. Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka. General Waste shall be disposal at Yokohama City disposal facility. Segregation and Recoverable Resources Recycle/ Disposal shall be complying with all applicable Yokohama City, prefectural and national Japanese laws/regulations The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental related work, and perform the service required. CONTRACTOR LICENSING REQUIREMENTS Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be awarded and performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. Contractors must be duly authorized to operate and conduct business in Japan and must fully comply with all laws, decrees, labor standards, and regulations of Japan during the performance of the contract. Contractors must be registered to do business and possess an appropriate license of Ordinary General Waste issued by Yokohama City and other applicable Ordinary Industrial Waste (OIW) licenses in order to perform work under this contract. Bidders are required to provide verification on such license prior to award to the Contracting Officer if such information is not already on file with or available to the Contracting Officer
