This Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) authorizes and approves the use of brand name commercial equipment from Johnson Controls, International (JCI) Metasys for Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) programmable building controllers in contract actions requiring interface with the identified Installation networked facilities control and monitoring system at the NAVFAC Washington installations listed below. Specifically included are: NSA Washington (Washington Navy Yard, Naval Research Laboratory, Naval Observatory, National Maritime Intelligence Center, Carderock, Arlington Service Center), NSA Bethesda, NAS Patuxent River (including Webster Field), and NSF Indian Head (including Stump Neck). Authority to act under this class justification is authorized from 5 February 2024 to 30 September 2026.
